Cloth somewhat worn o/w very good. The first part of the book is a translation from the French work of Magne, which contains information on external marks on cows pertaining to milking properties. Magne developed the "eschutheon" theory.

Laid-in are photocopies of two newspaper articles from 1974 and 1979 relating the story of the final family owners of the property and their eventual sale of the farm and liquidation of the stock and machinery.
