Handbound in laser cut and engraved wooden boards with Coptic binding of linen thread. Signed and numbered by the artist. Islam Aly: "In the Metamorphoses series, I am focusing on Islamic art and design. I want to reveal how patterns develop and morph in a book that makes the viewer experience their beauty, elegance, harmony, intricacy, and complexity. "Metamorphoses 5 represents a square that morphs into a star. The patterns in the book are combined, duplicated, interlaced, and arranged in multiple combinations that are precise, beautiful, and symbolic.

This is a scarce "Big Little Book" copy of "LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE" by Harold Gray. Number 708. 1933 1st edition, 2nd printing (with 1928 copyright date and 3-title ad at the back of the book); Whitman Publishing Company; Racine, Wisconsin. Illustrated throughout. This title has the distinction of being the second Big Little Book ever published. The book is a reprint of the daily comic strip that appeared in the New York Daily News newspaper from October 1, 1931 to August 31, 1932. Scarce in any condition.Condition:Soiling/staining to the front cover; the spine has a stain at the left edge; small, light stain at the top-right corner of the back cover; the left and right edges of the bottom of the spine have chipped off. London: Anthony Treherne, 1905. First Edition (thus). Flexible boards. Very good. Miniature (5cm x 7cm). A very good copy in the publisher's limp brown leather, stamped in blind. Rubbing to extremities and the binding a touch shaken, but a clean copy of this miniature book. All edges gilt,though the gilt is somewhat dulled. Appears to be genuinely rare; we note just three library holdings, all in the USA (Harvard, UVA, and Worcester PL [MA]).

London: The Company of Stationers, 1792. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 64Mo. This is an edition of the London Almanack for 1792. Measuring 1.2 X 1.4 in a leather wallet, A.E.G., consisting of 40 pages, of which 19 leaves are printed on both sides with 2 other leaves printed on one side only. Very good condition with a small pocket at both ends, one of which contains a neatly written ownership inscription dated 1844. The Almanack contains a monthly calendar, a Table of Kings & Queens Reigns, Lord Mayors and Sheriffs, list of Holidays and a list of Current Coins. Uncommon with 3 copies worldwide referenced in ESTC as T127702 although the collation given in ESTC differs from this copy and appears to have been cut and pasted in for all the editions of the London Almanack published between 1788 & 1797.

Rare compilation of the works of Jane Austen in two kid leather bound editions published 1903 by T. Nelson and Sons, London, Edinburgh and New York.
Ultra fine paper, soft leather covers with embossed spines. Books are in generally good to very good condition, one has a previous owners name on inner page. Both volumes contain the original silk bookmark but one is unsecured.
Soft leather covers have aged well with minimal wear evident at upper and lower ends of the spines. Pages have a gold finish to top edge.
A genuine collector's set.
