Very good condition throughout with some very minor rubbing and toning to the edges but still all clean and sound. The set has been very well looked after. Started by Vale with $100 from Lawrence Ferlinghetti and the same amount from Allen Ginsberg, Search & Destroy was a hugely influential recorder of the early Punk scene in America, while also reporting on and interviewing the bands making a name for themselves on the British scene, including Iggy Pop, Blondie, Dead Kennedys, X, Devo, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Sham 69, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Buzzcocks and an article on Vivienne Westwood. Complete sets of the original publications are uncommon.

This listing is for a large 11x14 photo of Harrison Ford in his role as Han Solo in Star Wars which has been beautifully signed by Mr. Ford and professionally authenticated by JSA (James Spence Authenticators). The JSA hologram is attached to the lower corner of the photo and I will include the ironclad full Letter of Authenticity from JSA with your photo. Certified authentic autographs of Harrison Ford are extremely hard to find, especially in this large format. Condition is pretty much as new; I didn't notice any obvious blemishes but please carefully examine the photos I've provided.

New York: Columbia Theater Associates of Columbia University, 1950 Original printed tri-fold playbill, with a typed slip for a replacement cast member laid-in; playbill is displayed in a two-sided black glass frame; sale also includes an original ticket stub tipped-in. Presentation copy from Langston Hughes, along with inscriptions from other cast and production members (Muriel Rahn who played Cora Lewis and Jan Meyerowitz who wrote the music). In 1949, Hughes reworked his pet thesis of the "tragic mulatto" from his 1928 play "Mulatto" into an opera, "The Barrier," the music written by modern composer, Jan Meyerowitz. The opera was first produced in the Brander Matthews Hall at Columbia University in 1950 and directed by Milton Smith. A table-card from the Downbeat club in Market Street, San Francisco advertising a residency by Billie Holiday and Willie Smith, the saxaphonist, which has been inscribed and autographed by Lady Day and also signed by musicians Willie Smith and Jerome Richardson. Smith later contributed to the album Lady Sings the Blues. Unfolded, the card measures approximately 9.5 inches by 5.75 inches. With printed red lettering on a pale yellow background. The card is in overall Good or better condition, with some light spots and small finger-marks/stains. There is one tiny pin-hole to each of the two top corners. The inscription/signatures are in ink and each are clear. Billie Holiday has written, "For Kell, Best always" and signed her name below. The signature is expansive and flowing. Warner Brothers. No binding. Just About Fine. [Los Angeles: Warner Brothers, 1941]. Vintage original 11 x 14" (28 x 35 cm.) black-and-white double weight glossy silver gelatin print photo. Print is borderless, there is one stain on Bogart's shoulder at far right. Just about fine.
Humphrey Bogart toiled on screen for nearly 10 years in all kinds of supporting and second-billed roles, with an occasional lead in a B film. High Sierra's Roy "Mad Dog" Earle was the role which catapulted Humphrey Bogart to first-billed star status. The following year he was considered a romantic lead as well. He excelled in this emotionally charged character, sprung out of prison and hiding from the authorities in the Sierra mountains.
Seldom were guns allowed in publicity stills, moreso with them being pointed at the viewer; this portrait violates both counts. This oversized print came from the files of the Photoplay magazine library and is ink stamped as such three times on the verso. Photo coded HB 238.
