The book is in good condition but has been read and has some highlighting (on 12 pages in total) and some erased pencil notes on a few pages. The cover has a bit of wear and a slight tear (see pictures)

Rare/collectible. This is a very rare 1st edition copy of Krippendorffs 1979 classic title "Communication and Control in Society".
The book is nicely kept, but does have yellow highlighter on two pages in the preface and two prior owner stamps. The rest of the text is clean and unmarked and the condition of the book is very good apart from the few markings described. The author, cites numerous authorities and includes much curious lore about customs, treatments, secrets of nature, psychology, witchcraft, dreams, sickness, demons, ghosts, and apparitions.
